You can easily remove or install sport or leather straps by using the buttons on the inside of each strap. If you are using a Misfit Vapor or Command device, you will need a 20 mm spring bar pre-installed on the lugs of your device. If you are using a Misfit Phase device, you do not need a spring bar.
Most 20 mm straps are compatible with Misfit Phase, Command and Vapor. The images below depict how to change straps on a Misfit Vapor device, but the same instructions would also apply to Misfit Phase and Command.
To remove straps:
- Flip the device over. You should see two buttons on each end of each strap.
- Using your fingertips and nails, lift strap flap up and away from under the buttons.
- The buttons should be able to pop out of the holes in the flap. Peel back the flap.
- Remove the strap from under the spring bar.
- Remove the opposite strap using the same steps. Using your fingertips and nails, lift strap flap up and away from under the buttons.
- The buttons should be able to pop out of the holes in the flap. Peel back the flap.
- Remove the strap from under the spring bar.
To install straps:
- Flip the device over, so that the back of the product is facing up towards you.
- Slide the flap of the strap (near the two buttons) under the spring bar.
- Fold the flap up and over the spring bar. Align the two holes on the flap over the two buttons. Using two fingers, press down around one hole to pop the button through.
- Using two fingers, press down around one hole to pop the second button through.
- Install the opposite strap using the same steps. Slide the flap of the strap (near the two buttons) under the spring bar.
- Fold the flap up and over the spring bar. Align the two holes on the flap over the two buttons. Using two fingers, press down around one hole to pop the button through.
- Using two fingers, press down around one hole to pop the second button through.
